Our Charges
Here at Glow Maintenance (KT) we operate a policy of honesty and fairness. We recognise the importance of pleasing our clients, regarding both quality of work and price.
We work quickly and efficiently to save us time, and you money. Most initial visits are covered by our minimum fee (equivalent of 1 hour), we can then advise on further works and cost options as required, if not simple to fix there and then.
Unlike other firms, on call-out and similar work, if the visit takes over the hour, we then calculate charges by the minute i.e. if a visit takes 1 hour 20 minutes we would ONLY charge you for the 1 hour 20 minutes, NOT round up to the next hour!
Commercial
Heating, Plumbing & Gas
For commercial work we charge £120 + VAT an hour, plus parts.
Domestic
Heating, Plumbing & Gas
For domestic work we charge £90 + VAT an hour, plus parts.
- *We have a minimum fee, equivalent to an hour, this allows for travel time for us coming to your property, petrol etc (i.e. if we are with you for only 40mins, the minimum fee would still apply).*

- * The type of appliance and/or the size of the gas meter/pipework determine if work is Commercial. Most shops and smaller offices are classed as domestic *
- * If you need us to visit, to identify the cause of a problem, this is a chargeable investigation NOT an estimate *
- * We do not provide a 24hr emergency service *
- *We can offer NO guarantees against problems developing with your appliance at any time in the future, if you are looking for a one price fix all option, please investigate larger firms such as British Gas.*

*Safety Checks, Check-ups and Servicing are HIGHLY UNLIKELY to fix any problems you are having, If you are experiencing issues, we need to come and investigate these to be able to give you repair options.* |

| Commercial & Domestic Initial investigations | Generally, it will take up to an hour for us to carry out an initial investigation for a problem you are experiencing, however, with larger commercial systems, especially with components spread between a number of areas this could take significantly longer. Likewise, if there are multiple problems with a system, then often we will need to resolve obvious issues before being able to identify concealed ones. Once we have investigated the issue, if not easily fixable there and then we will provide you with options and costs for the repair (e.g. if parts are needed or the system needs draining etc) |
